About
DHTML menu problems can be consigned to the past using Alien Menus for:
superior performance
higher scalability
greater optical impact
faster development
true frame-crossing
Our menus are divided into numerous theme sets. Here you can see a selection from the XP-3000 menu theme set. The XP-3000 design is for those who feel that Windows XP is just a little uninspiring in style. A combination of metallic gradients and borders based on the colours of your choice results in a smart, professional and original button style. The gradient effect reverses on rollover.
Theme sets provide you with a pre-made stylish professional look-and-feel. You can modify some of the theme's characteristics, such as colours, fonts and alignment, using the online configuration tool. Alien Menus Enterprise includes additional theme configuration options. As well as additional text formatting (italics, underline, shadow/emboss), stylesheets are supported for efficient definition and implementation of varying styles across the menus. The concept is similar to CSS - you define a combination of text and menu item formatting commands, and these are automatically assigned to all applicable menu items. In the Enterprise edition the capacity and flexibility of stylesheets has been enhanced, and additional layout options are available.
To find out more about these menus, to see other menus in this theme set, or to configure one of these menus online, click on the name of the menu below.
Good designers typically use top bar navigation for just the major divisions of the site, while the sidebar navigation menu is used for more detailed guides within each division. The theme set approach used here allows you to match the look-and-feel of your top and side navigation while varying their content.
